Brenda Louise Alexander, 83, of Trenton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1940 in Lafayette, Georgia to the late Andrew Morgan Young and Irene Kirby Young. She was a member of the Rising Fawn Church of God. Mrs. Alexander enjoyed taking care of children in and out of her home and was also a part-time cashier at Dollar General.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Harrill Alexander; daughter, Anita Kay Alexander; brother, Allen Young and her sister, Helen Bagley.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Gail Alexander-Nanni, Teresa Sutton, Melody Parker and Jackie Dutto; brother, Richard Young; sister, Alethea Fye; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in the Lafayette City Cemetery.
