Brenda Marie Davis McKinney, age 64 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born to the late Jimmy Davis and Margaret Coleman Davis in Chattanooga, TN, has been a lifelong resident of Chickamauga, and was of the Baptist Faith. Brenda was a dedicated Environmental Specialist at Gordon Lee Middle School (GLMS) for more than 27 years. She always had smile on her face to brighten the days for the kids and staff at GLMS and enjoyed her adventures in her favorite vehicles. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt who will be missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Ashley (Joel) Rodriguez; husband, James Jones; sister, Angela Sharp; nieces Sondra Travis and Shelby Bivens. Brenda’s Celebration of Life will be held at one of Brenda’s favorite places and the arrangements will be published when it is scheduled. There will not be a visitation or service at this time, per Brenda’s request. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to “GLMS HOPE FUND” in memory of Brenda McKinney.
