Bruce Lamar Walker, age 60, of LaFayette, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
He retired from Shaw Industries after more than 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Edward Walker and Sarah McCormick Walker; sisters, Dianne Mitchell and Patsy Walker; and brothers, David Walker, Kenneth Walker, and Michael Walker.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 39 years, Peggy Higginbotham Walker; daughter, BriAnn Ingram; son, Mason Walker; grandson, Braden Edgeman; sisters, Linda Jones and Judy Ridley; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 2, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Malcolm Harris officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday from 12:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
