Bud OliverRinggold, GA

Charles “Bud” Henry Oliver, 92, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord April 7, 2023. Bud was born October 19, 1930 in Trenton, GA to the late Thomas and Carrie Oliver. He was a lifelong resident of the north Georgia area, a member of New Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a handyman not only to the church but the widows of the church, and he was also a member of the Alhambra Shrine Temple. He was retired from Velsico Chemical Co. Bud built 19 tin lizzy cars and was captain of the local club. Bud was preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Miles.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years Paula Oliver, children, Ebbie Denton and Kim Miller, step-children, Stephenney Lee, Mark Akins, Billy Akins, and seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services honoring the life of Bud Oliver will be 2 PM Thursday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Henson officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM, Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
