Cammie “Cami” Elaine Mitchell, 64, of Chickamauga, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was a faithful member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church. Cami enjoyed painting, crafting, gardening, TV Shows, scary movies, traveling to the beach and spending time together with her grandchildren and family. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Darris and Sylvia “Capps” Prosser; grandmother, Lena “Nan” Mckinley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifteen years, Dewayne Mitchell; children, Kristin Sullivan, Kasi (Payton) Scott, Kristofer (Lauren) Runion, Jeremy (Lauren) Mitchell, Brad (Nikki) Mitchell; sisters, Cathy (Doug) Elmore, Sandy (Mark) Craven, DeAnn (Patrick) Ketchem; grandchildren, Aysia B. Wilson, Kalil Wilson, Piper Scott, Parks Scott, Pryor Scott, Elijah Mitchell, Levi Mitchell, Brilee Sue Mitchell, Maddie Kay Mitchell; best friends, Debbie Skidmore and Lorraine Knight; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Eric Greeson officiating. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
