Carl Phillip “Phil” RenoChattanooga,TN

Carl Phillip “Phil” Reno, age 69 of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was born to the late Dewey Phillip Reno and Lucill JoAnn Trusley South in Hamilton Co., was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area and was of the Baptist faith. Phil retired in 2017 from Truck Pro after more than 12 years and was a faithful Tennessee Fan. He was also a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. Phil was also preceded in death by his sisters, Tricia Manghane and Debra Brown; and grandson, Trevor Hughes. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, of 39 years, Donna Grubbs Reno; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Michelle Hughes and Gary Hughes; sister, Linda Gayle Surpan; grandchildren, Cody Baker, Ashley Smith, Alisha Hughes, and Anna Hughes; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Paul Forge officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the service time at the funeral home. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
