Carolyn Ann Hill Teems, age 71 of LaFayette, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was born to the late George Ambrose Hill and Ruby Watson Hill, was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a member of Shield Baptist Church, Chickamauga. Carolyn retired from the Public Works department of Catoosa County, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Leon Hill and Betty Jo Norling. Carolyn is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Hill and Kimberly Rae Hill of McDonald, TN; sister, Sadie Copeland of LaFayette; grandchildren, Dallas A. Hill, Sarah Kate Hill, Zoe Belle Hill, and Colton Hill; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tony Vona officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday and prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel.
