Carolyn Stone Earhart, aged 79, passed at her home in Ringgold on Monday evening, November 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Geneva Stone; brothers, Basil, Norman, Ben Jr, Bernard, and sister Patsy Stone Presley.
Carolyn worked at the company founded by her parents, Ben Stone Hardware in Ringgold, until its closing.
Carolyn had a beautiful singing voice and often sang in church. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church but often visited Smith's Chapel Methodist Church.
Carolyn enjoyed searching for antique and vintage items which she used to create a warm and inviting home. In her younger years she gardened and entertained friends and family.
She was a loving and loyal friend. Her nieces describe her as a constant and reassuring presence in their lives and as a loyal and fierce protector. She will be missed by many.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Vann Earhart; son, Mark Earhart.
A graveside service will be held at Catoosa Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, with Pastor Wilburn Dycus. Online register book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis ~ Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, Georgia.
