Cecelia “Sissy” Carol WestFort Oglethorpe, GA

Cecelia “Sissy” Carol West, 81 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. She spent most of her life in Knoxville, Tennessee and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a beautician and the owner and operator of Scissors West Beauty shop. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and traveling. Sissy was always full of silly jokes and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnet and Edna Ridley West; brother, Bobby Bonner, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors include her sister, Kay (Kirk) Sweitzer; nieces and nephews, Tracy (Darrell) Fuqua, Kenneth Mark Shepard, Kristy Carol (Angelo) Medina, as well as her close cousin, Steve Ridley.
