July 6, 1938 - April 9, 2023
Charles Don Edmondson, age 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and loved NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Connie Mae Edmondson and son, Mitch Edmondson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tina (Doug) Barbee of Trenton; Allen (Kim) Edmondson of Chickamauga and Lisa (Robert) Ferrick of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. The family would like to say a special thank you for the love and care given by Gentiva Hospice and to dad’s buddy, Raze Avery.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes with Pastor Mike Minor officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice, 430 Stuart Rd. Cleveland, TN 37312.
