Charles Michael Weaver, age 61, of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2023. Mike was a skilled heavy equipment operator and loved the outdoors and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Weaver, Sonny and Edna McKenize and cousins, Jamie and Little Larry Stoker. Those left to cherish. his memory includes his loving wife, of 30 years, Donna Weaver; children Chris and Amanda Weaver, Johnathan and Lindsey Beavers, Jennifer Powell, and Crystal Velazquez; grandchildren, Eli, Ethan and Edith Weaver, Beau and Bella Beavers, Judge Brown and Ty Caphart, Destiny Velazquez, Stephon Medrano, Deanna and Julianna Velazquez; uncle, Larry and aunt Pat Stoker; siblings, Brenda Tilley, Marie Payne, and Darrell McKenize. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in the Twin Oaks-Stoker Family Cemetery, LaFayette, with Pastor James Barker officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
