Charles Truman TylerFort Oglethorpe, GA

Charles Truman Tyler, 77, of Fort Oglethorpe went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born November 27, 1945 in Santa Paula, California. A son of the late John Wesley and Maxine Daily Tyler. He has lived most of his life in North Georgia and has been a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church for many years. Charles was retired from TVA after several years of service and enjoyed studying family genealogy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Tyler and a sister, Carra Garner.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, LaDonna Tyler; son, Cory (Julie) Tyler; brother, Emmett Tyler, of Vian, OK; sister, Doris Wolfgang, of Dayton, TN; grandchild, Lauren Tyler.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, August 28 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Frank Kelley officiating.

The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Monday, August 28 at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
