Christopher W. “Chris” Sanders
January 20, 1980 ~ June 11, 2023

Christopher Wayne Sanders “Chris”, 43, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on June 11th, 2023, while surrounded by friends and family at Rob's Bar doing one of the things he loved most; playing pool. He was born January 20th, 1980 on Super Bowl Sunday in Chattanooga, TN.

Christianity had been a very important piece of Christopher's life from a young age. He always took great joy in bringing people closer to God through using his own life stories to witness to anyone who would listen. Second only to The Lord, was his family. He has been a loving, patient husband for the last 10 years to a woman he truly loved and wanted to give the world to. He was a loving father and grandfather and was always willing to play or have a heart-to-heart. He enjoyed playing pool was a part of the American Pool players Association (APA) and had recently started playing in a master league. Christopher would often play video games online with his son, nephew, and brother. Their laughter and taunts could be heard through the house any given night. Even though he was a man with many hobbies, he was also a workaholic and had been loyal to Astec Industries for 16 years. Here, he made many friends and put in many hours to a company he loved.

Christopher leaves behind wife, Kristina Sanders; son, Seth Sanders; daughter, Lexi Newland and her fiancé Sean Ogle; granddaughters, Scarlette Edwards-Newland and Azabelle Ogle; father, Jefferson Sanders and step-mother, Patricia Sanders; mother, Gwendolyn Sanders; brothers, Jefferson Sanders and Logan Sanders; and sisters Rosa Mrosek and Ruthie Parrish; and nephew Nicholas Sanders in addition to many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and pets. He joins sister, Saralyn Sanders and nephews, Noah Sanders and Austin Dodson in heaven. Happily awaiting the rest of his family.
