Clydeen Patricia DiGilio Tomanio, 75 of Ringgold, passed away May 25, 2023. She was born in Great Lakes, Illinois and raised in Yonkers, New York. In 1998 she moved to Catoosa County and has resided here ever since. Clydeen was of the Christian Faith and a very active member of the Grand Old Party. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and worked in the Catoosa County School System for 24 plus years. In her free time, she enjoyed going to local events, Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, and cruises with her family. She lived life to the fullest and always found an adventure along the way. While in high school, Clydeen took interest in political campaigns, especially the Republican party, and it has been her passion ever since. Anytime an election was in season you could always find Clydeen volunteering somewhere along the road. She is preceded in death by her children, Christine Marie Valente, Richard Lee Valente Jr. and Thomas Joseph Valente, as well as her parents, Thomas Joseph DiGilio and Mary Catherine Malerba DiGilio. She was survived by her daughters, Ashley Toni (Cody) Tomanio, Brittany Clydeen (Josh) Tomanio-Harris; bonus children, Chrissy Thomas, Nicole Jenkins; sister, Genevieve Grosvenor; grandchildren, Emily, Brennon, Shannon, Maegan, Alexis, Dixieanna, Landon, Dawson, Brantley, Riley, Haley, Hudson, Hadley, Paisleigh, Ella, and Asher; many great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the funeral home chapel.
