Connie Maxine Parton Green, age 81, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, August 18, 2025, and went home to be with the Lord.
A lifelong resident of Ringgold, Connie was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. She worked in the cafeteria at Ringgold High School and retired after more than 40 years of dedicated service. Connie was known for her deep love for her family and always worrying about everyone but herself. She especially treasured the time spent with her two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Green; her son, Gary Green; and her parents, Albert Parton and Mamie P. Ware.
She is survived by her children, Terry Green and Sherry (John) Ellish; her brother, William Parton; her sister, Darlene Berry; her grandchildren, Ashley (Shawn) Ellish and Brandon Ellish; and her great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Preston, and Emmett Beard.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Robert Hanna with Hearth Hospice for his compassionate care over the past few months.
