Daniel Eugene “Gene” Pritchett, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025. Born in Chickamauga to the late Jessie Lee and Velma Jones Pritchett, Gene remained a lifelong resident of his hometown and was a devoted member of the Baptist faith.
He retired from Quinco Kitchens in 2003 after more than 28 years of dedicated service. Gene was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, known for his kindness and strong family values.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Holcomb, Lee Pritchett, Lonnie Pritchett, and Paul Pritchett.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Brenda Faye Pritchett; sons, Daniel (Jody), Chris (Cynthia), and Tim (Tracy) Pritchett; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
