David Paul Studdard

David Paul Studdard, age 77, of Summerville passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather (Pepaw).

David was a veteran of the United States Army.

He enjoyed playing and watching golf, as well as watching football.

David loved cookouts and holiday get-togethers, Sunday rides with his wife in the Mustang, going to the beach, and being around his family, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, LaVonda “Red” Studdard; father and stepmother, Claude Jr. and Mae Studdard of LaFayette; and mother and stepfather, Margaret and Jim Norwood of Oklahoma.

David is survived by his daughters, Lynn (Tim) Anderson and Stacy (Jeremiah) Nez; grandchildren, Matt (Sha) Green, Keisha (Ronald) Fulton, Chris (Blake) Green, Brandy (Ryan) Lowe, Blakley Anderson, and Megan (Patrick) Griffin; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann (Roger) Burns, Nona Askew, and Vickie Sharp; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 27, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Shane Harris officiating.
