David Ward, age 66, resident of Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Pruitt Health, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Mr. Ward, son of Daah Ann Chaumont Ward and the late Eugene Jackson Ward, was born on February 3, 1959 in Lake Charles, Louisianna. He was a 1978 Ooltewah High School graduate where he also was a member of the school choir. Mr. Ward was a carpenter for over 20 years both in and out of the Chattanooga area. He enjoyed classic rock and watching movies, particularly crime shows. The family remembers him as a man who loved his family – one who enjoyed his time alone.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Ward. He is survived by his mother, Ann Ward; two brothers, Steven Ward and Gene Ward, Jr.; two nieces, Daah Croft and Christian Ward; two nephews, Keith Ward and Trey Ward III; several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
