Deborah Jean Simerley Stoker, age 70 of Rossville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Deborah was born on May 31, 1955, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia to the late Frank B. Simerley and Ethel Ross Simerley. She was a member of Indian Springs Church of God and lived most of her life in Catoosa and Walker County Geogia. Deborah enjoyed solving puzzles, reading and being outdoors. Most of her time outdoors was spent working in the yard, spending time in the Chickamauga Battlefield and camping. Some of her favorite camping spots were Johns Mountain, The Pocket, and Chester Frost State Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Eugene Stoker, parents, Frank B. Simerley and Ethel Ross Simerley; granddaughter, Rebekah Nicole Willis.
Deborah is survived by her children, James David (Jamie) Chason and Melissa (Aaron) Willis; siblings, Virginia Butler, Harold Simerley, Cindy Gaither, Buddy Simerley, Rita Bolduc, and David Simerley; grandchildren, Meghan, Seth, Tyler, Jada, Jaxon; great grandchildren, Charlotte Grace, Ivey, and Willow.
