Derena McGill Wallin, age 54, of LaFayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Daniel McGill; her grandparents, Bufford and Virginia McGill and Ira and Lillie Pettigrew.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Carroll (Kevin Feero); son, Tyler McGill (Sydney Payne); mother, Martha McGill; grandchildren, Kaden Feero, and Kholby McGill and his mother Krystal Frost; and many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 9, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rita Williams Castillo officiating.
Interment will take place at Naomi Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jay Cameron, Shawn Prince, Shane Harris, Kevin Feero, Bubba Anderson, and Randy Millsaps.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
In Derena’s memory, please wear cheetah or leopard attire.
