Donald William Handley II, age 61, passed away on December 8, 2025, at his home in Ringgold, Georgia. He was born on January 29, 1964, and was raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Fay Handley and Donald Handley I.
Donald was the beloved husband of Sheri Handley and a devoted father to his sons, Kyven Handley, Codi Handley, and Corey Handley. He was a proud “Papa Don” to Lyra Handley, Georgia Handley, and Elizabeth Handley. He is also survived by his sisters, Terri Handley and Kimberly Handley Roberts.
Don had a deep passion for music and especially loved classic rock, with bands and artists like The Beatles, AC/DC, Elton John, and many others shaping the soundtrack of his life. He often shared song lyrics or sent songs to loved ones as his way of reminding them he was thinking of them. He was also a diehard Tennessee Volunteers fan, faithfully cheering on the Vols and proudly supporting his team.
Those who knew Don will remember his love for music, his loyalty to the Vols, and his dedication to his family. As Don would say, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.” He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
