James Earl Jennings, 73, of Rocky Face passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. Earl was born December 2, 1949 in Ringgold to the late James Everett and Mary Standridge Jennings. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of Burning Bush Baptist Church. He was a maintenance technician for SHAW Industries. Earl loved to go watch racing, hiking all over Georgia and Tennesse, and tinkering in his woodworking shop.

Earl is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Walker.

Survivors include his sisters, Eva (Steve) Hanshaw, Nancy Byrd, Rose O’Dell; brother, Charles Jennings; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or a charity of your choosing.
