Edna Faye Davis Turner, age 80, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born in Chickamauga to the late Charles Davis and Daphne Hixson Davis, Faye spent the majority of her life in the Chattanooga area, where she was a devoted member of the Baptist faith.
She retired following many dedicated years with Craftique Manufacturing and was known as a cherished aunt and loyal friend. Faye’s kindness, strength, and quiet grace touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James “Franklin” Turner, and her brother, Lewis Connell “Bear Cat” Davis.
Faye is survived by her loving nieces, Robin Davis, Jackie Davis, and Gerryann Davis; her dear cousin, Winnie Emrick; the friends and staff of Wanda’s Restaurant; her faithful canine companion, “Frankie”; and her devoted friends and caregivers, Greg and Jennifer Roach, who gave her years of love and companionship.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home – J. Avery Bryan Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
