November 12, 1942 - April 7, 2025
Edna Ruth Roach Quinn, 82, of Ringgold, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025. She was born in Ringgold, Georgia on November 12, 1942 to the late, Charles Edward and Ruthie Parks Roach and was a lifelong resident of Ringgold. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she truly enjoyed doing her Field Service and teaching others about the Bible. She was previously employed with the Catoosa County School System for more than 15 years in the Cafeteria and loved serving the children.
She loved to travel and going out with her friends for lunch was always a special part of her day. She enjoyed reading, watching the news, NCIS and Dateline. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Quinn; step-mother, Lillian Roach and siblings, Sam Roach, Ruby Reinford, Roy Lee Roach, Charlie Tinker, Oscar Roach, Arthur Roach, Jackie Roach and Johnathan Roach.
Survivors include her three children and spouses, Regina Ruth & (Harold) Fountain, David Brian & (Tammy) Quinn and Tiffany Dawn & (Rudy) McKinnie; brother, Samuel Roach; 2 sisters, Barbara Simerley and Linda Walker; 4 grandchildren, Crimson, Nathan, Natasha and Abby; 2 great grandchildren, Landon Agan and Declan Agan; best friend, Vicki Roach; several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family & friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 8129 Hwy 41, Ringgold, Georgia 30736 with Ken Blaylock officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home and burial will be private.
