Elsie Laverne Wulff, 88 of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA passed away Thursday, April 13th, 2023.
Elsie was born and raised in Mississippi and was of the Baptist faith. She spent many years of her life in Kosciusko, MS, Tupelo, MS, and Denver, CO. Elsie worked as an Assistant Manager for King Sooper Grocery for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed horseback riding, ceramics, the occasional trip to the casino, and spending time with her family. Elsie was a hard working woman and loved her family deeply.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husbands, Klaus Wulff and Joseph Rutherford; parents, Roy and Sadie Terry; siblings, Margaret Still, Roy W. Terry, Lucy Harrell, and Mavis Terry.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Kathy) Rutherford; grandchildren: Eric Rutherford, Chad (Katy) Rutherford, and Amber (Josh) Perry; great grandchildren: Teagan, Sadie, Connor, Dylan, and Daniella Rutherford, and Micah Perry; siblings: Charles (Ruby) Terry, Polly (Bill) Day, and Rita (Rocky) Vaughn; sister-in-law, Shirley Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
