Elsie Sue Wilson Keith

Elsie Sue Wilson Keith passed away September 5, 2025 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Edwin Keith, her parents, Floyd and Rebecca Hamill Wilson, sisters Edith Rosalie Wilson and Madge Wilson Ricks Cabbage.
She is survived by her children Cynthia Renee Keith Brown (Donny), Ranger GA, Charles Bradley Keith (Missy) Ooltewah, TN. Ralph Edwin Keith (Chris) La Fayette, GA. Six Grandchildren Lamar Brown, Rebecca Brown Price, Jacob Keith, Amy Keith Gaines, Bethany Keith Welch, Sam Keith. Special sister-in-law Carolyn Keith Williams.
She was a descendant of the Hixson and Hamills that settled Hixon, TN. She grew up in Highland Park and graduated from Central High School, Chattanooga, TN in the class of 1955. She loved cooking, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, music and life. She was also published in several magazines.
She loved the 21 years her husband served in the U.S. Navy. After he retired from the Navy, the Lord called him to preach. She played the organ in the churches he served. She was a prayer warrior for many who requested her praying for them. As a strong Christian, she firmly believed in the power of Prayer.
As per her request, there will be no visitation or service. Only a private family graveside service at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
