Esther Collins Cumber, age 75 of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023. She was born to the late Rufred Collins and Elgie McCoy Collins in Pikeville, KY, has lived in Ringgold for the past 14 yrs., after living in Plymouth, MI most of her life, and was of the Christian Faith. Esther retired in the early 70’s, from AT&T, after more than 15 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed. Esther is survived by her loving husband, of 43 years, Jerry Cumber; daughter, Kimberly Reid; son, Jon Thomas Cumber; brother, John Collins; grandchildren, Anna Reid and Samuel Reid; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Thacker Memorial Mausoleum, Pikeville, KY. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
