Eston Henson, age 81, resident of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 8,2026 at CHI Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Mr. Henson, son of the late Gordon Henson and Reba Persley Henson, was born January 12,1944 in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. He was a plumber for over 60 years, owning and operating Henson Plumbing. Mr. Henson enjoyed gardening, particularly his tomatoes and playing golf. While at home, he looked forward to watching NASCAR and classic westerns on television; cooking; and listening to Southern Gospel. The family remembers him as a man with a great sense of humor and always showing sincere compassion to others.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Henson and Wanda Smedley.
Mr. Henson is survived by his wife, Brenda Henson; three sons, Jeff Henson, Jesse Scoggins, and Gary Scoggins; four grandchildren, McKayla Henson, Dakota Scoggins, Abby Scoggins, and Kali Scoggins; many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1-3 p.m.
