Frances “Pauline” (Norris) Allen

Frances “Pauline” Norris Allen, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2023. She was born on October 7, 1927 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and had lived in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area all of her life. She was a member at the First Baptist Church of Lakeview and had been a former member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe. Mrs. Allen was a retired RN with Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred J. Allen, Sr.; son, Fred J. Allen, Jr.; brother, Orbie “Leon” Norris; grandson, Jeremiah Gazaway; and her mother, Vergie Mae Williams

Survivors include her children, Clifford (Debra) Paul Allen; Dora (James) Gazaway, Connie (James) Deatherage and Melissa Jean Allen; daughter-in-law, Marie Baldo; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any cancer research organization or the First Baptist Church of Lakeview.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
