Garland Thomas Crisp, age 69 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023. He was of the Baptist faith. Originally from Dutton, AL, Garland resided in the North Georgia area for more than 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Shaw Industries.
Garland was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Crisp; twin brother, Wayland Crisp and brother Kenneth E. Crisp.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Daniel Crisp; brother Ronnie Crisp; sister, Charlotte Tate; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00pm EDT/12:pm CDT Friday May 12, 2023 at Chaneys Chapel Cemetery in Dutton, AL.
