Geneva Lawson, 88, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born to the late Samuel and Ruby Lawson in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Geneva loved the Lord and her family, and she will be greatly missed.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruby Lawson; sisters, Faye Edwards, Dorothy Haney, and Betty Shaw.

Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Michael (Melvina) Shaw of Rossville, Georgia.

The funeral service, a time to celebrate Geneva’s life, will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, 3049 LaFayette Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Following the service, we will proceed to Lakewood Memorial Gardens – South, 325 Greens Lake Road, Rossville, Georgia, for the burial.
