George Walter LaValleyRossville

George Walter LaValley, 70, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. George was born September 24, 1955 in New York to the late Walter and Lilie LaValley. As a young man, he lived in Florida before making his way to Northwest Georgia which he made his home for the remainder of his life and he was a member of the Indian Springs Church of God in Ringgold, Georgia. George could always be found with a good book. The only thing he enjoyed more than reading was spending time with his family and friends. George dearly loved his family and enjoyed caring for his dear nieces. George was loved by his family and all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Brice and Lilie Louise LaValley; brother, Charles LaValley; and sister, Cindy Meads.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Arthur (Cecilia) LaValley of Ringgold, Georgia and Kenneth LaValley of New York; sisters, Esther Morey of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and Kathy LaValley of New York; and several much-loved nieces and nephews.
