Geraldine Johnson CampbellRossville, GA

Geraldine Johnson Campbell, age 82, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 15, 2023. She was of the Church of God faith and was a very hard worker. She loved her family and friends but most of all she loved the Lord and Savior. Geraldine loved to help and care for others; she never met a stranger and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Mae M. Johnson; husband, Clayton “Cotton” Campbell; daughter and son-in-law, Clayta and Paul Edward Serna; eight sisters and brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carla Campbell, Gearla and Darryl Watson and Claydene and Robert Vernon; brother, Billy Johnson, Sr.; grandchildren; Shane Campbell, Ryan Black, Justin Vernon and Amber Sanders; several great-grandchildren; very special friend, Lola Gail King; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Randall Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 am ~ 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
