December 16, 1936 - August 23, 2025
Glenn “Buddy” Franklin Price, age 88 of Chattanooga, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Ringgold, Buddy graduated from Ringgold High School and was a faithful member of New Liberty Baptist Church. In 1961 he married his loving wife, Martha Wheeler Price and together, they moved to Chattanooga where they resided for the remainder of his life.
Buddy lived his life with a generous spirit and truly never met a stranger. Known for his compassion and willingness to help anyone in need, he touched countless lives through simple acts of kindness and his gift for making others laugh.
He was happiest outdoors, whether mowing the yard, cleaning cars, or simply relaxing in the hot tub. Buddy had a passion for firearm shooting, exercising while his health allowed, and always found joy in listening to music. He was a true jokester at heart and someone who could find humor in any moment.
Above all, Glenn cherished time spent with loved ones. A few of his closest friends were Charles Chapman, Gaylen Graham, Theron Heaton, William “Sparky” Sparks, Matt Gutekanst, James Hill, Ed Hill, Steven Cox, and Dewayne Bramlett.
He will be deeply missed, but his love for life and the joy he brought to others will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George W. Price Sr. and Bessy Sims Price, brothers, Carl, Roy, Junior, Milton, Alan, and Buck Price.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Martha Wheeler Price; daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Justice, siblings, Carol Price and Elberta Cline; grandchildren, Chandler Powell and Ryan Justice as well as many more grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
