Harold Franklin Price Jr.Rising Fawn

Harold Franklin Price, Jr., 70, of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Harold was born on October 1, 1956, at the Tri-County Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to the late Harold and Bernice Price. He was a lifelong resident of the Tri-State area and was a member of New Lookout Baptist Church in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Harold was one of our great American heroes. He served our country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force. After his time in the Air Force, he worked for almost twenty years at Norfolk Southern Railroad. Harold enjoyed playing golf and trying his luck at the casino. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, Harold dearly loved and treasured his family and enjoyed every moment with them. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Franklin and Bernice Derryberry Price; son, Anthony Lee; and brother, Roger Price.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Kathy Price; son, Jacob Price of Lookout Mountain, Georgia; brother, Kenny Price of Chattanooga, Tennessee; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join us in remembering and honoring Harold on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
