Harold Lamar Roberson, age 85, of Tunnel Hill, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Harold resided most of his life in the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Rossville High School. Harold proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after serving over twenty years. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 203 in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well as the National Rifle Association. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and watching all sports. His most cherished time was spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lena “Fay” Coleman Roberson; parents, Hubert Roberson and Thelma Peal Roberson; sisters, Cora Lee Griffin, Patricia Ann Teems, Gloria Jean Knack; grandchild, Silas Gaven Roberson; nephew, Butch Teems.
Harold is survived by his children, Erik (Karen) Roberson, Wayne Roberson, Michele Roberson; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as close friends at Ringgold High School.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
