Harold Samuel Felty, age 77 of Ringgold, claimed his Heavenly Rewards on Friday August 25, 2023. He graduated Greenback High School in Greenback, TN and was a long-time resident of the North Georgia area. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army, serving at the Panama Canal. He loved camping and fishing, but most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them. He retired from Kroger after 17 years of service and the United States Postal Service after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eules Grant and Mary Ruth Felty; and brothers Wayne Felty, Bob Felty and Mike Felty
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 55 years, Wilma Felty; sons, Chris (Dalane) Felty and Keith (Angela) Felty; brothers, Drew (Shirley) Felty and Connie (Pat) Felty; sisters, Margie McCall, Betty Jo Hammontree, Iva Lee Davis, Sandy (Buck) Pritchett and Judy Felty; grandchildren, Grant (CC) Felty, Chloe Felty and Chase Felty; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Graveside funeral service with full military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Rev. Garry Tomberlin officiating.
