Homer Stanton “Stan” Dean, Jr., of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2025, after a 17-year long battle with cancer. Through every challenge, he remained positive and resilient, leaning on his faith and sense of humor to uplift those around him.

He was a faithful member of Peavine Baptist Church and previously New Liberty Baptist Church, where he served in many roles. He also coached girls' softball for many years, through which he built lifelong friendships with his players, their families, and fellow coaches.
