Jack Kenneth Allen
May 31, 1936 - June 15, 2024

Jack Kenneth Allen, age 88, of Ringgold passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Ringgold, Georgia to the late Bill Allen and Ida Lee Miller Allen and was of the Baptist faith. Jack resided in California for forty years before moving back to Ringgold in 1997. While in California he enjoyed square dancing and served with the California Highway Patrol on the Motorcycle division for thirty years. Jack loved his country and proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. After moving back to Ringgold, he drove a school bus for Catoosa County School system for seventeen years. Jack loved riding motorcycles as he could often be found racing with the Oldtimers Motorcross Club or riding his Honda Goldwing on the street. He was an avid fan of Georgia Bulldogs football and Atlanta Braves Baseball as well was watching many other sports including basketball, waterskiing, and snow skiing. In his free time Jack also enjoyed going to the lake, traveling in his motorhome and being outdoors.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Bill Allen, Darlene Carlock, Jim Allen and Linda Allen.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Susan Jessie Allen; son, Doug (April) Allen; stepchildren, Rhonda (Michael) Bonneau, Deidre Montijo, Alexis Montijo, Stephanie (Tony) Montijo-Morse; sister, Bobbie (Brian) Cyper; grandchildren, Devin, Damon, Gene, Myndie, Sarah (David), Cody (Heather), Lauren, Adam (Meredith), and Christian; great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Forrest, Brynn and many more; two great great grandchildren, close friends, Wendell and Glenda Wells, as well as many friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Rock Bridge Community Church with Pastor Andrew Plisko officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Cemetery.
