Jackie Hullender, age 75, resident of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Jackie, son of the late J.P. Hullender and Aline Hullender, was born December 23, 1949 in Ringgold, Georgia. He was a Deputy Sheriff and interim Sheriff for Catoosa County and later a Police Officer and Interim Police Chief for The City of Fort Oglethorpe. Jackie culminated a distinguished career of over 38 years of faithful service to the Catoosa County area. Jackie enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking trips to the mountain with his family. While at home, he enjoyed watching classic western movies, grilling, and listening to all type of genre music. Most of all, Jackie looked forward to spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by three daughters, Wendy (Chris) Casteel, Angela (Keith) Pearson, and Jennifer (Ken) Millican; six grandchildren, Ashley (Dustin) Clark, Britny (John) McMeen, Chase (Peyton) Dale, Kara (Jason) Murphy, Heather (Josh) Lacy, Maygan (Chris) McFarland; twelve great-grandchildren, Kinzlie Cates, Haven Cates, Tillie Pearl Cooper, Leighton McMeen, Pearson McMeen, Ryder Dale, Bryson Dale, Deacon Dale, Adelyn Mae Clark, Annabelle Clark, McKinlee McFarland, and Fox Lacey; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled at Anderson Memorial Cemetery in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday, April 18, 2025, 12 noon with Reverend Justin Hullender.
