Jack Williams, 79, went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2023. He was born in Campobella, South Carolina, grew up in Hendersonville, NC and lived his life in North Carolina and the North Georgia area.
Jack enjoyed riding in the country and especially the Smoky Mountains. He worked at West Side Auction where he loved talking to everyone he met and also sharing about the Bible. He was a huge family man and loved hearing his grandchildren call him “Papaw Jack” or “Papaw”. Jack was also a big jokester.
Preceded in death are his parents, Paul and Ruth Williams; brother, Boyce Williams; infant brother; bonus son; Arvon Pace; granddaughter, Misty Lynn Carter
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Grace Williams; children, Carolyn (Bruce) Williams Sanderson, Kim (Lebron) Hunt, Melissa (Scott) Mathis, Rene (Roger) Edwards, Raymond Pace and Tim Pace; siblings, Larry Williams, Ann Kilpatrick, Danny (Dottie) Williams; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special care givers, Shannan and Charlie Phillips, Kim Hunt and Larry Williams; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8th at 12:30 in the South Crest Chapel with the Pastor Gabe Howard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Garden South
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7th from 4:00 – 8:00pm and on Saturday, July 8th from 11:00 until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
