James Corbin
March 19, 1941 - February 19, 2025

James Corbin, age 83, resident of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga.

Mr. Corbin, son of the late John A. Corbin and Lily May White Corbin, was born March 19, 1941 in Rossville. He was a truck driver for over 25 years, retiring from Covenant Transport. Mr. Corbin always enjoyed being a long-distance truck driver, being able to see all the sights in the country. He was a member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge #397. Mr. Corbin was an avid Georgia Football fan; enjoyed watching classic western movies; playing solitaire; and cooking for family and friends. The family remembers him as a pleasant and gentle man.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Odell Whaley and Shirley Stephens; and two brothers, Bill Corbin and Donald Corbin. He is survived by two sons, Jay Corbin and Chuck Corbin; two brothers, Max (Carol) Corbin and Ira (Mary) Corbin; one granddaughter, Audra Corbin; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services are scheduled at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2 p.m.
