James (Jim) Lamar Coxwell, age 83, of Sevierville, TN, entered his Eternal Life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
A member of Mountain Brook Christian Church, he was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Marguerite Hambey and his son, James Coxwell, Jr.
James is survived by his daughter, Cam Coxwell (Glenn) Shiflett; grandson, Spencer Kirk and his fiancée, Hailey Nowell; and caregiver, Janet Brickzen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel. His son-in-law Pastor Glenn Shiflett will officiate. Interment will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Kirk, Glenn Shiflett, Gordon Shiflett, Paul Shiflett, Ryan Shiflett, Stephen Stewart, and Richard Kirk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
