James Kenneth Cargile, 79, of Chattanooga passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born on May 1, 1944 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Cargile served in the U.S. Army; enjoyed his time as a truck driver and loved to spend time with his precious wife, Faye.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Faye Cargile; granddaughter Jennifer Renee Hutcheson; parents, Ed and Geneva Cargile.
Survivors include his children, Vanessa Hutcheson, Ronda (Randy) Dillinger, Kevin (Mary) Cargile and Robert (Angela) Cargile; one brother; one sister; 10 grandbabies and 16 great-grandbabies.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday at Hooker Cemetery with Pastor Rob Borders officiating.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
