Jennifer Marie (Bailey) Watson, 49, of Flintstone, Georgia, went to sleep in Jesus on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jennifer was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia area and was a member of the Lookout Mountain Seventh-day Adventist congregation in Rising Fawn, Georgia. Jennifer had a huge heart and loved connecting with people. She had a bright, contagious spirit and enjoyed traveling and experiencing new adventures; she loved staying “on the go.” Jennifer experienced many obstacles in her life, but she always had a fighting spirit and never gave up. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and would encourage everyone to live each day to the fullest. Jennifer dearly loved her husband, family, and friends and always prioritized each one in her life. Jennifer was a very loving, sweet, kind-hearted person and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ella Mae Strickland, and her grandfather, Eddie “Poppy” McCreary.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Paul Watson; parents, Richard and Debra Holland; sister, Sara Vela; nephews, Oliver Vela and Benjamin Vela; niece, Nadia Vela; and special fur baby, Domino.

The family has arranged a time to remember and honor Jennifer. Friends and family are invited to join us on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service, a time to celebrate Jennifer’s life, will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Zack Divaux and Pastor Bruce Trigg officiating. Following the service, we will proceed to the Lookout Mountain Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery, 5501 Hwy. 157, Rising Fawn, Georgia, for the burial. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
