Jerry Wilson, Sr.,78, passed away peacefully at a local hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Chattanooga and lived in the Chattanooga/Rossville area all his life.
Jerry was a huge Nascar fan and loved cheering on his favorite driver, Chase Elliott. He also enjoyed college football, especially his Georgia Bulldogs. Jerry was loved by his family and shared his opinion with them on many occasions.
Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Linda Wilson; son, Jerry Edward Wilson, Jr; 3 brothers and 1 sister; parents, Almon and Hazel Wilson
Survivors include his son, Dale (Tammy) Wilson; grandsons Jonathan Wilson and Taylor Wilson; lots of cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Private services with Jerry’s family will be held at a later date.
