Jesse Clinton “JC” Fincher, age 71 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. A lifelong resident of Ringgold, JC was of the Baptist faith and retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. While outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent many of hours watching western tv shows and cherished time spent with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Fincher and Mamie Ducket Fincher; his brothers, Eddie Fincher and Jerry Fincher.
JC is survived by his loving wife, Birdie Nunley Fincher, his son, Matthew Fincher; stepdaughters, Carolyn Hall and Patti (Keith) Francis; stepsons, Danny (Samantha) Pitassi and David Hall; siblings, Willie Sue Brown, Gene (Sheila) Fincher, Freddy (Linda) Fincher, and Jimmy (Nancy) Fincher; his granddaughter, Hannah White; special friends, Margaret Bean, Allen Albritton, David White, Whesley Ducket, and Larry Craig, as well as many extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, with Pastor Calvin Nunley officiating in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis – Stewart Chapel.
