Jessie E. Clark, 83, of the High Point Community in Walker County passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at his daughter's home in Lafayette. Mr. Clark had lived most of his life in Walker County and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Top Flight Paper in 2007 as a Head Mechanic with over 30 years of service. Mr. Clark loved his family, enjoyed spending time outdoors, and he was always available to those in need with a helping hand. In his younger years he enjoyed farming, being on the tractor, hunting and fishing.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Long Clark; parents, James and Edith Clark; sisters, Ellie Brice and Margie Huskey; and brother, Edgar Clark.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Renee’ (Wendell) Pack; grandchildren, Jessika Pack and Lee Pack; great grandchild, Tristin Payne; brother, James M. Clark, Jr. (Linda); sister, Hilda C. Smith (Spellman); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Joe Stephens officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Lookout Cemetery in High Point, GA.

 

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-7p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
