Joan Elane Davis Rayfield, passed away May 17, 2023 at her home in Ringgold Georgia. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Nanny and great Nanny. She is preceded in death by her children, Karen and Eddie Rayfield; parents Ed and Audrey Davis; siblings, Mary Ann Plott, Jimmy Davis, Arnold Davis, and Louise Davis. She was survived by her husband, James Rayfield; children Kaye and Mike Hale and Rosemary Lynn Rayfield; grandchildren, Tiffany (Bo) Hammontree, Bobby Ray (Kat) Merrell, Cody (Jacy) Nipper and Kayla Nipper; many great grandchildren; sibling, Cynthia Thomason, Carolyn Bryson, Geneva Stockburger, Jean Conner, John Lee Davis. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens ~ South.
