John “Ken” Flegal, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1954 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James and Christine Flegal and lived his life in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. Ken was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Flegal had worked with CHI Memorial, Moccasin Bend and several Mental Health Facilities over the past 30 years. Ken enjoyed riding motorcycles, skiing, hiking and gardening.
Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Laura Flegal; step-children, Terry Owens, Christopher Owens, Matthew Owens and Jalene Henegar; brother, Dan (Sherry) Flegal; 13 grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 19th in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends 11-1 PM Friday, May 19th at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
